Passport Funding

The Passport funding program is a reimbursement program that helps adults with developmental disabilities in Ontario, 18 years of age and older, to access services and supports. The program is funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) and is managed by Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) and regional Passport Agencies.

Passport Funding can be used for daily living activities and participation in the community such as classes, recreational programs, education, and person-directed planning. It can also be used to hire a support worker and for temporary respite to provide relief for caregivers. The ministry recently expanded the list of eligible expenses in response to COVID-19. See the full list here.

If you think you may be eligible for Passport funding, please contact Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) for your area. Locate your local DSO here.
